Island Girl Mia is joined by Maddy, Zoe, and Zara, who all share their firsthand experiences of how these competitions often aren’t a level playing field. We discuss everything from lack of resources and preparation to the deeper issues within the system that leave certain schools, like ours, at a disadvantage.

This conversation goes beyond pointing fingers—it’s about holding the system accountable and calling for real change. Our Mic. Our Moment. Our Movement. This episode is a call to action for the Government of the Virgin Islands and competition organizers to ensure fairness, transparency, and equal opportunities for all students, regardless of where they’re from.

This isn’t just talk; it’s time for action.Remember, this ain’t No Long Talk… just action! Tune in, get inspired, and find out how we canall advocate for equality and ensure the future of intersecondary competitions is fair foreveryone.
