What does it mean to really breathe? When l tell people that mindfulness meditation is about breathing, they often chuckle… but we all breathe… But do we really understand what it means to breathe and why it's important. Let me share one breathing technique that can help calm feelings of stress or anxiety...it's called the box breathing or square breathing, is a deep breathing technique that can help you slow down your breathing. It works by calming your nervous system and decreasing stress in your body.
