The controversy behind qualified immunity and Some of the Solutions changes we recommend. Police Pull Guns On Afro-Latino Army Officer In Traffic Stop and tased a Marine twice in a Hospital.

FBI warned of white supremacists in law enforcement 10 years ago. Has anything changed No. In the United States, qualified immunity is a legal principle that grants government officials performing discretionary functions immunity from civil suits unless the plaintiff shows that the official violated "clearly established statutory or constitutional rights of which a reasonable person would have known". What we are talking about is that it does not matter if you are white or black, when police arrives they treat you just as a nail. They are the the hammer and public is the nail and they are there to nail you. There are maybe some racist police officers but this is more than just racist cops, it's the culture, training or God complex. If they treat their fellow veteran like this than public has no chance. U.S. Army Lt. Caron Nazario told Windsor City Police he was “honestly afraid to get out” of his vehicle in videos of the incident showing officers with their guns drawn during the traffic stop. A Marine veteran was tased twice by officers in his daughter's hospital room after he refused to give up personal property. He says the officers didn’t have a warrant.
