In this episode of Coastal Idiots…Katherine and Shane partake in the centuries-long tradition of wishing acquaintances a happy Facebook birthday! They stroll down memory lane to drum up tales from the early years of comedy and college hookups, all in an effort to craft a heartfelt message on the Facebook wall of someone they haven’t spoken to in years. Naturally, this stirs up some longing for their mothers, who have both passed away — so the gang calls none other than Zolton, the podcast medium! Katherine and Shane take turns asking Zolton if their mothers are proud of them… and quickly learn that some answers are better left unspoken. Then, they’re joined by their good friend and hilariously talented comedian, Jeremiah Watkins. The crew relives their first experiences with death and listens to voicemails about others’ unforgettable funeral moments.
