Call the year what you want, it was mixed with many good things and some really funky stuff at the same time. Like never before we've had to learn how to live with pain and joy together, a lot of us thrown into tremendous highs of celebration yet feeling the weight of pain or disappointment or even multiple rejections from people or things we've anchored ourselves to.

"Counting our blessings" can cause some unconscious anxiety but we must decide not to throw away the "201" for the "16".

Unending webinars and meetings, virtual game nights and parties of every kind basically summarize our daily lives now #newnormal. I know some of you haven't been able to see your loved ones and in some cases your family for a while because of the interstate lockdown; i'm sending you virtual hugs right now.

With May over, time to look ahead with zeal and optimism - you can't afford anything less right now. If the month of May was crappy, don't let June go without a fight. We all have to make these decisions at different times in our lives, but when they involve our loved ones - that's where it gets very tricky and sometimes frustrating.
