In January, 2017 a 26 year old violent offender was due to face court on 23 different charges. Instead, he had stabbed his brother, kidnapped his girlfriend and was driving a stolen maroon Commodore erratically through downtown Melbourne. He describes himself as someone with a big heart. He also admits that he went into the city that day to, ‘Run people over’. *link to send me a voice message: https://anchor.fm/gabrielle523/message References and links for episode: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-11-18/bourke-st-attack-james-gargasoulas-inquest-police-audio/11711894
