We're Nicole & Kate! Friends, confidants, accountability partners, and we’ve been supporting each other over the years sharing our ups and our downs and hashing out the big questions of life - do we want kids? Can we have it all? How do we stay healthy and keep our businesses running smoothly without major stress and overwhelm? We talk things out ‘cause that’s what real friends do - they provide love, support, and space for one another to share without judgement, speak without hesitation, and learn from each other - even when we don’t agree.

Have you declared your rules of life yet?

Declaring our rules of life is something we did back in Episode 75 of Nicole & Kate Can Relate, and today will be our second time revisiting this topic!

In this episode we’ll share why we feel so strongly about declaring your rules of life, plus share our original rules of life, which ones we’ve eliminated, and ones we’ve added!

Points Discussed in this Episode

  • “Rules” can be interchangeable with whatever resonates with you (goals, values, etc)
  • We revisit our existing Rules of Life
  • We share some new rules we’ve both added!
  • How fun and fulfilling this exercise can be - and how helpful it is!

Mentioned in this episode:

NKCR Ep 75: What are your rules of life?

NKCR Ep 97: Are we living up to our rules of life?

How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie

Outlive by Peter Attia MD

Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones: Netflix documentary series

Four Thousand Weeks by Oliver Burkeman

Thank you so much for joining us for this episode where we share our own experiences answering the question: Have you declared your rules of life yet?
