Hey hey!
Today we are talking mental health.
You know I'm a big believer in mental health, and how your mental health and physical health is tied together and inseparable.
So I'm talking about how to keep up with fitness when you're depressed, anxious, stressed, feeling low, etc.
Because if you lean into your feelings, it doesn't help you get out of them.
Hope this podcast helps those who are struggling.
Much love,
Nick

Free Strength Training Program
Hello again you lovely people, I'm back!
Took a little hiatus from the podcast while I've been working on cohosting the Donuts & Dumbbells Podcast (Spotify link) (Apple Link) with my good friend Brooke Madigan.
We are back in full force now, and kicking off the new year with my second powerlifting meet recap.
In this episode I talk about training for my meet, and going through a pretty intense water cut to make weight for the day.
I hope you enjoy, and I hope you learn something.
As always, it would mean the world to me if you left a 5 star review if you enjoy the podcast.
Thank you for listening.
Much love,
Nick

We deep dive into her relationship with food, how she felt about those famous colored containers from Beachbody, and what she's doing now to repair her long damaged relationship with food.
Hope you enjoy

What an absolute pleasure it was to sit down and talk to the Legend, Jordan Syatt.

- Fitness while being a parent
- Exercising for health instead of performance
- How Jordan went from deadlifting 4x his bodyweight to giving a shit about fiber
- Embracing your inner child

Sure the last one is a little weird, but get into it. And send me your somersault videos.
We also cover a broad range of other topics.
Anywho, it was a great episode, and I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed speaking to Jordan.
Much love,
Nick

But she did.
We also spend a long time talking about her time in Slimming World, and how she had to deconstruct a lot of logic around "free foods".
Hope you enjoy the episode.
Much love,
Nick

Longtime listeners will remember Raelynn from episode 3 of the Nick Anderson Fitness podcast.
Today we check back in and have much to discuss!
If there's one question I get asked the most, it's why I left a cushy job in the engineering field to work as a personal trainer. Today, I answer that question, and I get deeply personal. I share with you the struggles I've endured, the cognitive dissonance I faced while doing two things, and I share the mental breakdown I had that led to the final decision to switch into a career field that I love.
Looking back, I'd never ever change a thing.
ALSO THERE'S A BIG GIVEAWAY IN THIS EPISODE! I won't tell you what it is, you have to listen to find out. But I will tell you the winner gets one free Legion supplement.
Lastly, if you want to work with me so you can become the most badass version of yourself possible, I have online coaching spots open now!
Enjoy the episode, and much love, Nick
In this episode, I talk to Doctor of Physical Therapy, Kaytlyn Wells.
She works with powerlifters and weightlifters to help them lift really heavy weight and do it pain free.
We talk about the difference between pain and fatigue, and what you should do if you're experiencing pain.
If you've been listening for a while, you know I took on a 30 day alcohol free challenge.
Well, when I talked about that on my Instagram story, Terri saw that too and decided to take on the challenge as well.
She talks about what it was like for her, and how it was going to social events. What kind of pressures she faced, and how it affected her body afterwards.
No matter what you do.
Don't ever quit.
The only time you fail for real, is when you quit.
Much love,
Nick
In this episode I sit down with Gabby, who has struggled at being a perfectionist, counting every calorie down to the gram.
Until she discovered that she doesn't have to be 100%, and being 80% is good enough, and still sees results.
We unpack her journey through that and have a lot of fun along the way.
Gabby is also a fantastic artist, and at the end of the episode, I went out and bought a t-shirt from her shop.
If you'd like to support her, please check out her shop here!
Much love,
Nick
In this episode, I talk about my 30 day challenge where I don't drink alcohol.
