What do Urkel and Fonz have in common? - Audio
Hey family, do you remember the Fonz? He was the coolest guy on TV. And the cool was his identity. As for Urkel, he was the ultimate nerd, from his suspenders to his giant glasses. What they had in common is that each one had something defining and directing their lives and their choices. This week we're hoping to give everyone their own glasses--lenses by which to see the world. As we continue in our series on Colossians, we're going to investigate a beautiful prayer that puts our entire lives in focus and shows us how to worship Christ. I look forward to seeing you at 10 a.m. Sunday at 360 Schermerhorn St. Please invite a friend! Kids' Church starts at 10 a.m. also, for children ages 5-12. --Edwin Announcements: Saturday, Nov. 1--Marathon Eve service. Sunday, Nov. 2, is the New York City Marathon. To avoid the traffic that always makes getting to church so complicated on that day, we will be having our annual Marathon Eve service on Saturday evening! Doors open at 5:30, service starts at 6, followed by a Volunteer Appreciation dinner to celebrate all the people who make our ministries successful. Come on Saturday evening, then stay home on Sunday. Daylight savings ends--Sunday, Nov. 2. We will not hold an official service that morning. Please attend our Saturday evening service on Nov. 1, then set your clocks back an hour and enjoy sleeping in on Sunday!
