Of Note: First I want to apologize that this episode got cut off at then end before I could formally sign off. In addition, I am aware its somewhat choppy and in need of structure. I appreciate your understanding that I am new to this and will strive to do better in future episodes. Feedback is welcome at nextlevelmedicalassisting@outlook.com.
Communication with patients and coworkers is key. Even if it doesn't seem like the most convenient option at the moment ultimately it will save you time. Always try to put yourself in the other persons position and think what you would like you to do. Remember that the patients time is valuable as well and some things are out of the MA's control but what we can control is what information we give to the patient about what is happening or what will happen.
