So, last week, Brazil hit the record of 535 thousand deaths due to COVID19. It is one of the biggest death-count in this pandemics. There are still over 1200 deaths per day.

In 2020, Brazil's population was almost 213 million people, so the lack of preventive measures to stop the pandemic spread killed more than 2% of its people. It could be not so tragic if the president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, were not a fascist genocidal science negationist. He did all he could to help spread the virus, making the Brazilian population believe there was a treatment for the COVID disease using Hydroxychloroquine - which is actually an antimalarial medication - preaching the heir immunity to favor economy instead of people's lives.

On July, 10th, Argentina beats Brazil at Copa America at the legendary Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro. Only one goal was enough to end the 28-year-old sadness of no titles for Argentina. Winning over Brazil is extra tasty, for sure. Soccer is the Brazilian passion. I heard through the grapevine that some people were rooting for Argentina in Brazil, and when it happens of people not rooting for the Brazilian National Soccer Teams, things are going really bad. For me, the best image of the game is when Neymar was lifted up by Nicolás Otamendi like a mother has to do with the kid in a tantrum in public places, sometimes.

And the Brazilian president, Jair Bolsonaro, was admitted to the hospital on July 15. After more than a week with hiccups as a symptom, the man decides to check it out. More than a week, you heard it right. They had to pull over two pounds of fecal matter through a nasogastric tube, yes, through his nose, because they found out an intestinal obstruction. Yup, he is really full of shit. I am not sorry for him. Sorry, not sorry.
