There are a ton of podcasts about dating and relationships but We realized there wasn’t really a podcast focused on the type of advice you get from your group chat, like what to say on dating apps, dealing with sketchy matches, and everything that comes with it. Britt, Chanelle, and Lauren are three best friends in their late 20s who grew up together.
The name “Nevermind, He Texted Me” comes from the group chat convo we have all had; the one where your friend says she hates him and is never texting him again, only to be followed up a few minutes later by the words, “nvm, he texted me.”

This week, we start off with some more insight on what's going on on dating apps these days. People are very open about two things: hard drug use and polyamory. For the drugs - why would someone who openly does hard drugs match with someone who has it in their profile that they never do that? Our discussion about polyamory is short, being that we don't know much about it ourselves, but we think whatever people want to do in their own lives is fine. We want to have a guest on who can give us more insight on this lifestyle, so stay tuned for that in the future! Somehow, between all that, we get into reminiscing about how much we hate skiing, and a trip to Atlantic City for Chanelle's 21st birthday in 2013 (see @nvmhetextedme on instagram for the photos that were mentioned in this discussion). Lastly, we get into a listener question about cheating. Can a relationship be salvaged after one or both parties cheat? We get into all the reasons and situations where it can be fixed vs where it can't, as well as the number one thing that is needed in order to heal.
