Commons Battle Royale: Kemi vs Chris
Sir Chris Bryant told the House that he feels the most unsafe he's ever felt as a gay man, and put some of the blame at Kemi Badenoch's door, saying her 'rhetoric' was part of the problem. Is he right? Kemi didn't seem to think so.

I Feel Sorry for Wes Streeting, but Not for Katya.
Wes Streeting has been on the receiving end of some horrific homophobia, which is grossly unacceptable. We explain what happened, and why it's so worrying. We talk about the Autumn Statement, and also why the famous drag queen, Katya, has really put her foot in it by saying Glasgow is on somehow the same level as... Gaza.

Does it really matter if there aren't any openly LGBT politicians in the Cabinet?
So, it’s been quite the week hasn’t it. Suella Braverman and David Cameron seem the be the names on everyone’s lips, even Kay Burley’s, where one of the first things she said about DC was that he’d put on weight. I’m sure if a male presenter had said that about a female presenter, there’d be outrage, but hey ho. We’ve got a great show for you this week, talking about the reshuffle and whether or not it matters that there aren’t any openly LGBT ministers attending cabinet now.

Freedom of Speech, Turkeys for Christmas, and Misgendering Meaning Prison
This is quite the episode. Joe and Albie have quite a heated debate about 'free speech absolutism', and whether or not being hurt or offended can, or should, be legislated. Does calling someone the 'n-word' or a homophobic slur automatically mean that someone should be prosecuted? This comes after Labour announced that they plan to impose prison sentences for misgendering. We also discuss newly released footage of a pride flag being torn down at a pro-Palestine march and Luke asks whether or not there is a 'crisis of intersectionality?'.

If you're Pink News or a Queer for Palestine, this might not be for you.
This week, Luke and Albie address the Pink News article about our podcast episode where we spoke about puberty blockers, and why their lack of journalistic integrity to report things accurately is detrimental to LGBT people. The boys then address the 'Queers for Palestine' movement, shedding a light on why this really is a misguided movement.

Andrew Boff on Thatcher, Khan, Johnson, and Braverman
This week we’re going to play you the interview that Albie did with chairman of the London assembly Andrew Boff, who you might now know as the quiet heckler from party conference the other week. We had caught up with him shortly before that all happened, and Andrew has a broad church of opinions. Albie asks him what it was like being a gay tory in the Thatcher years as he’s been going to conference every year for almost 50 years now. He talks about what working with Boris was like vs what working with Sadiq Khan is like, and he has some pretty strong thoughts on the Home Secretary’s controversial comments on asylum seekers claiming to be gay to get into the country, and weighs in on Equalities Minister, Kemi Badenoch.

Roisin Murphy, Puberty Blockers, and Trans Students

Roisin Murphy is in the news (and off the BBC), but why? This week, Luke takes us through what's caused such a fuss and whether it was warranted. We also have a sensitive conversation about a side effect of puberty blockers that isn't often talked about. Albie breaks down what the government wants to do about issuing guidance to schools on how to deal with trans or questioning pupils, but we look at all sides of the argument and think about why there may be other factors at play.

This episode contains discussions of a sensitive nature.

Sports, Saudi, and Sexuality
Why should Jordan Henderson care about what gay people think? This week, Luke and Joe debate whether Henderson has to answer for anything with his move to Saudi football club Al-Ettifaq. It leads them on to a discussion about LGBT+ rights in the Middle East, and whether or not it's a good thing that a lot of Arabian countries are simply 'buying up sports'.

Boys, Bushra, and Bondage

This week, for our inaugural episode, we jump straight in the deep end and take a look at the news that an LGBT+ children's book was shown at a school in Hull, that had drawings of two grandads in bondage gear. That then leads us into talking about whether fetish is acceptable at Pride events now.
