In this first episode of NeuroQueer Connections (former Entre Eux Deux), we delve into the crucial topic of creating a trans-affirmative mental health care system. Noémie Gmür (she/they), sex & relationship therapist, is joined by three guests: Marlene (she/her), musician, YouTuber and Tiktoker (avelosongs / MarleneBellissimo), Martín (he/him), psychosocial counselor with queer refugees and Or, (he/him), informal youth therapist and hairdresser. They share their experiences as members of the trans community, as well as their advices and recommendations for improving the accessibility of the mental and physical health system for trans people.

NeuroQueer Connections is a podcast in English or French, created by Noémie Gmür, a Queer Sex & Relationship Therapist, working with an affirmative practice across Gender, Sexual, and Relationship Diversity. As someone who has often found themselves outside the norms, Noémie decided to focus their practice on people who are targeted by marginalization, with an intersectional feminist, trauma-informed and cultural-sensitive approach. Creator of the Neuroqueer Connections podcast, Noémie discusses queerness, neurodiversity, gender, sexuality and mental health, aiming to break taboos and promote understanding and acceptance of human diversity.
