So let me ask you, have you ever felt like you were invited somewhere you didn't belong? Have you worried that you got a job, promotion, or some position because someone overestimated your abilities?
You may suffer from imposter syndrome if you've ever felt this way. , according to dictionary. com, this is the anxiety or self-doubt that results from persistently undervaluing one's competence and your active role in achieving success while falsely attributing one's accomplishments to luck or external forces. Essentially, it's this fear you don't belong, and eventually, people are going to find out the truth. Being a nerd of the word has taught me a few things about how to deal with imposter syndrome.
