_The *DUG* Series # 258_ _*Men & Money*_ (Exodus 35- 36) After writing the Devotionals of the past two days, I just could not go past this passage without sharing a couple of thoughts on Moses and his leadership. I am sure you remember we are looking at the theme- _*Stop Bringing your Offerings!*_ 😊 Take a moment to ponder the text as I read it for you one more time- _They received from Moses all the offerings the Israelites had brought to carry out the work of constructing the sanctuary. And the people continued to bring freewill offerings morning after morning. So all the skilled workers who were doing all the work on the sanctuary left what they were doing and said to Moses, β€˜The people are bringing more than enough for doing the work the LORD commanded to be done.’ Then Moses gave an order and they sent this word throughout the camp: β€˜No man or woman is to make anything else as an offering for the sanctuary.’ And so the people were restrained from bringing more, because what they already had was more than enough to do all the work._ Exodus 36:3‭-‬7 We've looked at this passage from the perspective of the- βœ“ Giver βœ“ Receiver Today we'd like to look at it from the perspective of the- βœ“ Leader Moses was the reason why- βœ“ People Gave βœ“ People were Genuine What kind of a *Leader* was Moses? 1) _*MOTIVATOR*_- People βœ“ Were Confident βœ“ Co-operated βœ“ Contributed gladly & generously in response to Moses' leadership 2) _*MENTOR*_- The workers were- βœ“ Honest βœ“ Hardworking βœ“ Honoured GOD under the leadership of Moses. He was a great *Mentor* for the men & women who worked alongside him. 3) _*MANAGER*_- Moses was an exceptional *Manager* of- βœ“ People βœ“ Possessions βœ“ Power He led & managed in a truly GOD honouring manner. As we begin our day let us allow the HOLY SPIRIT to search our lives. _What kind of *LEADERS* are we?_ 1) _*MOTIVATOR*_- 2) _*MENTOR*_ 3) _*MANAGER*_ Have a wonderful LORD'S day!
