Cranston Walker has returned to Silk Haven. Over late night drinks with his sister, Vivienne, he continues to recount the search for Rosamund Syme after her kidnapping by masked men in customized truck. The search has brought Lucien and Cranston to the Barnaby home; the hub for an appalachian clan of backwoods entrepreneurs. There is more going on than Cranston is privy to thrusting him deeper into the mysteries surrounding Ms. Syme.
