Jake returns to work at Mountain Mysteries after months off taking care of Andrea and their children. At the SPPD a box addressed to ex detective DeBrunt arrives reminding everyone of an old monster long forgot. On McNeilus Pass Kim Johnson sees new wildlife devastation unmatched since the Witke Monster was unleashed, causing worry amongst the wildlife officers present. Out at the apparent abandoned Witke labs work continues on the super soldiers deep down in the mine. A welcome back party at the office for Jake is cut short by the arrival of the box!
