As a qualified Mechanical Engineer, with High Distinctions from University, Daniel still felt like an Impostor in his engineering career working in mining & steelworks. He found himself staying in his comfort zone and not wanting to progress in his career. He felt out of his depth in this career and not worthy of the promotions he was encouraged to apply for.
It wasn't until, Marshy was gifted a book that completely changed the trajectory of his life. After reading this book, everything in his 'Math Brain' (as he describes it) clicked. He felt like he now had hope in his life, purpose and direction. Curiosity was ignited and a passion inside of him that he became obsessed with reading everything about personal finances and the stock market.
