I love voice over, that change in the tone of voice. Urdu Poetry has its own magic. And when it comes directly from the heart, every word of Urdu shares the feeling and emotions that are empathetic, which never leaves the person alone and the heart feels that the whole universe shares the pain and power to overcome. Pareshaan Raat Saari Hai, as the Matla goes that is penned down by Qateel Shifai Sahab. It explains how the night torments the emotions and still we wake up to feel the pain of past and lost love in the middle of the night.

I have always read this ghazal and particularly the sher (couplet).

phir yaad bahut aa.egī zulfoñ kī ghanī shaam

jab dhuup meñ saaya koī sar par na milegā

Now this time lets enjoy it together.
