Na Kisi Ki Aankh Ka Noor Hu explained by Nauushad Muntazir

Muztar Khairabadi’s excellent work, Na Kisi Ki Aankh Ka Noor Hu, empathizes with the pain of Bahadur Shah Zafar, how we must have felt incarcerated in Rangoon jail, spending his last days totally isolated.

mirā vaqt mujh se bichhaḌ gayā mirā rañg-rūp bigaḌ gayā

jo ḳhizāñ se baaġh ujaḌ gayā maiñ usī kī fasl-e-bahār huuñ

This sher (Couplet) alone made the whole ghazal famous. It will make your heart heavy.
