Joel Bryant is a former award-winning Corporate Trainer, Author, University Lecturer, and Focus Group Moderator with over 25 years of management and leadership experience. He quit his job as a Corporate Trainer, however, in October 2000 to follow his dreams of becoming a writer. En route, he had his car repossessed, ruined his credit, and became homeless for three months one week after 9/11. Thanks, however, to his second book, Work, Why? Diary of a Dreamer (The Anatomy of Greatness), which won a $10,000 award in 2002, he was able to secure shelter and continue pursuing his dream. Joel enrolled in college at 35, obtaining a BA in English, an MA in Liberal Studies, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Since then, he's went from being branded "Nobody" by some to being seen as the Voice of Greatness by many. Joel applied his passion for greatness daily while lecturing in the Philosophy Department at UNC-Charlotte where he spent five years changing students lives' (enduring meanwhile the untimely death of his wife at a movie theater in November of 2014). Joel is a prolific author and passionate speaker, who has published 42 books in the last 15 years, each of which examines themes of change, growth and greatness.
