As we come around to the end of the competitive season for most athletes, this is an immensely important paint of discussion for us to have.
In this episode I talk through the navigating the transition post-prep into a phase of restoring homeostasis and eventually a phase of improvement.
Hopefully this serves as a good reminder and provides helpful & supportive insight for competitors no matter how experienced you are within your process.

Episode 64: Enjoying Bodybuilding WITHOUT Competing
Do you need to compete in order to be a bodybuilder? Absolutely not.
Bodybuilding is a process in and of itself. Competitive bodybuilding takes that to the extreme level & that is not something that will actually enhance everyones bodybuilding experience. For some it will & they will thrive in that environment. For others, it wont. And that is actually perfectly okay.
As a female especially, competing takes a lot out of you (mentally and physically) - so being able to make a smart decision as to what will give you the most enjoyment and longevity within bodybuilding is always going to be so important.
In this episode I talk through some of the main reasons why, and scenarios where, it might be better for you to simply bodybuilding without getting down to stage lean condition.
I hope you all find this insightful and helpful in some capacity, as aways!
If you enjoyed the episode, please make sure to give the podcast a 5 Star Rating ⭐️
