Mac Miller, Substance Abuse, And Escapism feat. Jay Parker
What's up, Natives! This week we feature Ameen and good friend Jay Parker in a discussion about substance abuse, emotional authenticity, and escapism, in light of the recent overdose death of rapper Mac Miller. Many times, even as followers of Christ, we experience darkness and depression, putting up masks and platitudes that draw attention away from our deep issues. But our brothers remind us that Jesus longs to sit and weep with us, then dry our eyes and point us to His great work and worth!
