In this discourse Our Spiritual Master KrsnaKnows expounds the Bhakti Yoga Sutras (Path of Love & Devotion) of Devrishi Naradmuni. Narada Bhakti Sutra Chapter 07 – Narada’s Aphorisms on Love Divine – Glory of Sage from Sutra 68 to 69.

Sutra 68: When (they) with throats choked with emotion, body covered with horripilation and tears flowing down, converse with each other in broken words, they sanctify their family and tribe, nay, the very earth itself they come go glority.

Sutra 69: (They) sanctify the sacred places of pilgrimage, add glory to actions, and lend authority to the scriptures.

Info: The Narada Bhakti Sutra (IAST: Nārada Bhakti Sūtra) is a well-known sutra venerated within the traditions of Hinduism, reportedly spoken by the famous sage, Narada. The text details the process of devotion (Bhakti), or Bhakti yoga and is thus of particular importance to many of the Bhakti movements within Hinduism. It has received particular attention among the Vaishnava traditions.

Within the text Narada explains the perfectional stage of pure devotion; the process to achieve this state; gives quotations from other Vedic personalities on the subject matter; things to avoid when developing bhakti, and finally explains the nature of selfless love and the different forms of attachment to the supreme person.
