In this last episode of the Ex-Muslim season, Naeem talks about the juxtaposition of trying to fit in while also trying to be unique. As a Muslim, new to a mostly Christian country, Naeem's goal was just to not stand out. His personality, however, did not allow him to blend in and he found himself belonging to a new tribe.
"There's beauty in uniqueness but comfort in sameness."
