In this episode, a blade is born from rebellion, a god is overthrown, and a prophecy is unleashed.
Gaia, burdened by Uranus’s oppressive rule, forges a sickle of divine adamant. She entrusts it to Cronus, her youngest Titan son. In a climactic act, Cronus castrates Uranus, separating sky from earth and reshaping the very cosmos. From the blood of Uranus rise the Erinyes, Giants, and Meliae—harbingers of vengeance and power. From the seafoam, Aphrodite ascends, radiant and destined to bind gods and mortals alike.
But Uranus does not fall in silence. His final words curse Cronus with the fate he inflicted upon his own father: one day, a child will rise to overthrow him.

📖Sources
This video is inspired by authentic Greek mythological sources, specifically for the narrative of Uranos’s fall, the castration myth, and the birth of Aphrodite. It draws from Hesiod’s Theogony (verses 154–210), Apollodorus’s Library, Pausanias’s works, and scholarly studies such as Walter Burkert’s Greek Religion and Carl Kerenyi’s The Gods of the Greeks. All interpretations remain faithful to historical records.
📜Creator’s Note
Greek mythology is not a single book, but a chaotic universe of contradictory tales passed down over centuries.
To transform this rich tapestry into a cohesive and emotionally resonant saga, we made narrative choices and adaptations.
Our mission is to weave a clear mythic thread—always faithful to the immortal spirit of these ancient stories.
