As a professional actor for 25 years, Dominic naturally sought a new creative outlet when he couldn't perform in 2020. His inspiration came from real-life Cece and Sheriff (Cece is his sister Kathleen's dog, and Sheriff is his). Their strong personalities made it easy to start writing his first book. Six months later, he had completed a 10-book series.
