This episode’s guest is someone very special to me and someone who I truly have looked up to since freshman year in High School to now being in my last few weeks as a senior, Ms. Lauren Kostegan! Interviewing Lauren was such a full circle moment for me as she was there when I first started this podcast back in Freshman year, we both met on a Zoom Call back in September of 2020 for online school, and now here I am about to graduate! Through the years, she’s always been there for me and most importantly a mentor! I’ve been so lucky to have had amazing teachers like her and I am so glad we got to do this episode. We shot this episode for the first time not virtual and in her own classroom! And it was so cool recording this way! We talked about her start to teaching Special Education/the importance behind it, being a Student Council advisor, Vice President in The Teachers Association, and her upcoming podcast in the works that she is co-hosting with her best friend and they both have plans to launch the podcast sometime in the summer!
