Despite being an ICU nurse, James became sick and had to face that if he didn't change, he wasn't going to make it. Luckily he made the change and now he is n Life Coach helping others become unstuck.

Bio: My name is James Van Der Walt. Owner of VanDerWalt Coaching LLC in California. I am a life transition coach who works with men and women 30 years and over, who feel disconnected and disjointed from who they truly want to be. I coach and inspire my client's transition to a reconnected and energized life that is charged with curiosity and creative possibility. I have worked as a Specialist Registered Nurse in the U.K. for over 20 years. Specializing in ICU nursing, Organ donation and transplantation nursing and bringing it all together in mentoring, higher education and coaching, before I moved to the USA in January 2020. Wanting to take my career to a new focused life purpose and direction, but continue using all my life experience to date, I become a certified Life and Health Coach at The Health Coach Institute. This led to me becoming an entrepreneur who started my own coaching company, with main aim of inspiring people to stop surviving life, and to start living their own lives!
