Mohammad Yazdanfard speaks with Dr. Vaziri, whom he has known for nearly 18 years. Dr. Vaziri first became Mohammad’s teacher around 16 years ago, and since then, Mohammad has continually learned from him. Dr. Vaziri has been a deeply influential figure in his life, shaping his journey and inspiring him in countless ways.
Dr. Vaziri is a passionate educator who moved to Canada when he was a teenager and came back to Iran around 26 years ago. He introduced innovative methods like using songs and movies to teach English, making learning both engaging and effective. His institute, Vaziri Language Institute, in its prime, had a profound impact on countless lives, inspiring many to learn English and even become teachers themselves.
In this episode, Dr. Vaziri opens up about his incredible journey. He recalls his teenage years in Iran, his move to Canada, and the struggles he faced during his final days there, including a period of depression. He shares the story of a life-changing phone call that led him to return to Iran, leaving behind his PhD studies and embracing a new path.
