Mohammad Yazdanfard speaks with Niloofar Kosari, a long-time friend and English student whom he has had the privilege of teaching in four classes over the past 12 years. Together, they delve into her remarkable journey of becoming an advanced English learner. Niloofar shares how she began her studies and how advancing her English skills opened the door to new and exciting opportunities in her personal and professional life.
They also discuss her recent IELTS Academic test experience. Initially, Niloofar had planned to take the test in Turkey last year (2023) and had even booked both her trip and the exam. However, she ultimately canceled these plans. Despite this setback, her determination never wavered. A year later (2024), she rebooked the exam, overcoming her challenges and fears to achieve an outstanding overall band score of 8, including a perfect 9 in Listening and Reading, a 7 in Writing, and a 7.5 in Speaking.
