|Episode 23| I interviewed my mam. This is probably my proudest episode. My mother spoke about her favourite moments throughout her life, her trials and tribulations, as well as her prioirities and the things she values most.
She spoke about her experiences growing up with her mother who had manic depression and the culture of shame and fear around mental health. Mam highlighted her friction with the catholic church. Growing up with femenist views she clashed with the ignorance in the church. She also talked about being an introverted, slightly anxious child and the growth she has accomplished in these areas of life. Enjoy.

I think it is a meditation on life cycles the beginning of the end as well as the end of the beginning. Damn is an introspective album were Kendrick breaks down his internal emotions, fears, weaknesses and strengths. As Kendrick said: 'Damn would be the idea of: I can't change the world until I change myself'.
