Here you will be able to gain pointless knowledge from our long-lost past or the modern era, delivered in an open-minded, yet cynical and sarcastic way. I loved fun facts, and weird and unbelievable stories. If you prefer the weird over the "normal", the unorthodox rather than "the safe bet", then grab your sense of humor and wonder, and come on in. Welcome Home. 🪬
If you end up enjoying what you are about to pour into your earholes, then consider contributing to the cult. I really need some culty-looking robes if I'm going to pull this off. https://anchor.fm/mylilcult/subscribe

Double Disasters: The Great London Smog & The Molasses Flood
I think I overloaded myself this episode. I’m offering up not one, but two disaster stories. First we travel to London 1953, where the worlds first “smog” suffocated the city and killed thousands. Then we’ll travel back to 1919 Boston, to try and figure out how the streets were filled with molasses, killing so many innocent puppies. I know that’s terrible right!
