At the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, Darya Klishina cast a lonely figure.  The long jumper was the only Russian athlete permitted to compete in the Athletics competition at those Games.  Following the outcome of the McLaren report into state-sponsored doping in Russia, Darya was able to prove herself a clean athlete, having lived and trained in America for 3 years.
