It's is sad that we are not taught about taxes in high school or university, as a compulsory subject. I have made many tax related mistakes and I only learnt in 2019 how to file my personal returns. Working for myself has also allowed me to learn about; VAT, Filing returns & Annual returns. On this episode, I sat with Innocent my accountant and we went through the basics of Kenyan tax.
