It has been over 100 days since Israel launched its devastating attacks on Gaza after Hamas’s attack on October 7th. The death toll in Gaza has now exceeded 24,000. Despite numerous calls for a ceasefire from countries around the world, the United Nations, and international organizations, Israel persists in its relentless bombardments and destruction of Gaza. The rhetoric from Israeli officials and the actions of their military have prompted South Africa to file a case of genocide against Israel in the International Court of Justice.
