A few days ago a petition was created on change.org to make the Apollo Theater an official Broadway house! In a matter of days, the petition has over 10 thousand signatures and has had broadway celebrities from Alex Newell (Once on This Island revival) to Alex Brightman (School of Rock, Beetlejuice) tweeting about it.
