Music Works is a podcast for the classical music industry
Welcome to this special episode of Music Works.
Today we will discuss The Musicians' Census, a joint project by the Musicians’ Union and Help Musicians with the aim of painting a comprehensive picture of the music industry as a whole. To discuss the importance of this ambitious project, and how your contribution to the Census can help to better support the wider music community in the future, we will be joined by three special guests: Sarah Woods, Deputy Chief Executive at Help Musicians; John Shortell, Head of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion at the Musicians Union; and Linton Stephens, freelance bassoonist and broadcaster of the BBC Radio 3 programme "Classical Music Fix".
