MMOTW Season 2 Episode 2 The Murders of the Idaho 4 & Annie Le
It’s well into the school year but Stacey and Kelly are feeling very academic. New clothes, new pens. Sometimes green pens that get left behind at a crime scene. In this episode, we try to unpack how schools - specifically colleges and universities - have become fraught with tragedy. Like how none of us can unsee or unfeel the 2022 murders of four University of Idaho students who have heartbreakingly become the Idaho Four. Then we tell the story of Annie Le - a graduate student at Yale University whose murder should never be forgotten. Annie disappeared four days before she was supposed to marry her college sweetheart. Instead of walking down the aisle, she was brutally murdered by yet another violent man with an inferiority complex. It’s a theme, beauties, and we’re not happy about it. To make up for it, we’re giving you a beauty segment that, in the words of Queen Rihanna, is like diamonds in the sky. Or on our faces. And our nails. Shine bright like a diamond, beauties. This is a rough one.    Sources The Idaho Four: An American Tragedy Yale Daily News Rochester EDU NYTimes Oxygen NH Register Yale Alumni   BEAUTY/FASHION 55:38 Brightwood Skin Dr. Idriss Phoebe Philo Slik Nik Nails (Stacey) IG Phouk Nails (Kelly)  IG COS Tote Nour Hammour Jacket

Season 2 Episode 1 Gail Katz and Robert Bierenbaum
MMOTW SEASON TWO! Episode 1 The Murder of Gail Katz HEY! We are back! We renewed ourselves for Season 2! Get ready, Beauties! This week we’re diving into the chilling case of Robert Bierenbaum, the handsome, charming New York plastic surgeon who seemed to have it all—a thriving career, a love of flying planes, and a picture-perfect marriage. But behind the polished surface was a dark and violent truth. When his wife Gail Katz vanished without a trace in 1985, friends and family were left searching for answers… and the truth about Robert would take years, a torso, and a roving gang of ex girlfriends dishing the dirt before Robert was brought crashing back to earth.   Don’t worry, we are still going to give you the plot of a whole entire movie from 2006. We are even going to be wheeling the beverage cart out and serving up some And Just Like That  and SATC fun stuff (RIP Carrie and the gang) Can you help us get season 2 soaring?? Karen Read Repeat
Since Karen Read is repeating, we thought it would be a good time to repeat one of our first episodes. In episode 3, practically still in the womb, we dove right into one of the most polarizing and controversial cases in the history of ever. Or at least in the Northeast.

Episode 22: Ruby Franke
Beauties, we are taking this show on the road back to Utah in a big van that can carry 8 passengers or 7 and a driver. It is unclear unless Jesus is taking the wheel. We are driving to Hell Hole and then Purgatory. So strap in and get ready for some pretty awful things to happen. This was such a bumpy ride that we will give you a fresh episode of beauty and fashion and other fun stuff. Episode 21: The Port Arthur Massacre
MMOTW Episode #21 Port Arthur Massacre   We are headed way down under to Australia today. Tasmania, to be exact. According to all my Google images, this island off the southern end of Australia is stunning, with beaches, bays, and quorkas. We are not a travel podcast, so we are not covering all of Tasmania’s tourist destinations, but we will talk about a horrific day at one of them. Port Arthur, where on April 28th, 1996, a man committed the worst mass murder in Australian history. We will also tell you why that doesn’t happen anymore. Hint: It’s gun laws. We don’t have those in America.    It is not all dark and dreary on MMOTW. We get into some real blah reviews of some Oscar Glam. YAWN and awful. Don’t worry, we were in our sweats while judging.  Stacey will explain what mummification means, and then we have some banging beauty tips. All by women-owned beauty brands for Women’s History Month! MMOTW Trial Sized #3: Sabina Rosas - Murder at Shou Sugi Ban House
Welcome to our third trial-sized episode, which is not that much shorter than normal. Kelly and Stacey are back in the Hamptons for a shocking, gruesome murder that shook an ultra-elite resort and spa in the uber-wealthy community of Watermill this past fall. Sabina Rosas was an artist who championed women artists from Central Asia - and developed platforms to showcase their work (and hers). She also loved to travel the world for inspiration and stay in very trendy, chic hotels. This all sounds very expensive, right? Well someone’s got to pay the tab - but it’s Sabina who ends up paying the ultimate price.    We’re also chock full of news this week, covering everything from Kanye to Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, to red carpet season and Meghan Markle’s latest foray into lifestyle branding. Plus - which eyelash serum wins the Oscar? And what White Lotus collab should be on your radar? Don’t worry because we will tell you everything.  Follow us on IG MMOTW Email us murdermurderonthewall@gmail.com   News: Muse Vintage Palm Springs The Hollywood Reporter/Blake Lively Nicky C Bell   Beauty: 38:21 AsEver NYC Meghan Markle IG Page Six As Ever As Ever Wiki Flamingo Estate  Violette FR @ Sephora Grande Lash Serum Shiseido Full Lash & Eyebrow Serum Revitalash The White Lotus x AWAY  The White Lotus @ HM The White Lotus x CB2   Sources: Shou Sugi Ban House Goop Shou Sugi Ban House NY Times Hyperallergic The American/Joika Fox News interview with Liz Phillips History.com article on 19th C Paris Opera House Pauline Oliveros Deep Listening Sabina Khorramdel Reddit Sugar Lifestyle Forum Daily Mail/Ryder Itawa interview

Episode 10: Kouri Richins - Mom, Author, Killer?
This week, we are sending out to you an encore performance of one of our fav episodes. The one where Kelly and Stacey head to Utah! Where we may have found one of the craziest “secret lives of Mormon wives” in all the land: Kouri Richins, who maybe killed her husband with a Fentanyl-filled Moscow Mule - and then wrote a book about grieving. We think Kouri may have killed her husband for the plot. And some money. This story has it all. Money, Insurance, flippin, flipping houses, poisoned sandwiches, and a crappy cocktail the Moscow mule. Secrets and lies, hidden money, financial infidelity, regular infidelity, you name it! The cherry on top is the book about grief that was written for children, Titled: Are You Still With Me? Whooo boy.  Then we switch gears and talk about Beauty and Fashion, for funerals. Stay with us! Stacey has a tie-in with The Met Gala and the Costume Institute. Some funerals are very public - and we wanted to showcase two very different beauties.   Daily Mail UK Laura Collins The Salt Lake City Tribune by Kolbie Peterson NYTimes Kouri Richins to Stand Trial by Remy Tunin CBS News by Betsy Shuler Dateline: Page Turner by Andrea Canning Daily Mail UK Shocking new details by Laura Collins and Ben Ashford People Magazine Sisters of Eric Richins Pushed The Investigation Forward by Emily Palmer Vogue Jackie O's Beauty   ABC4 Affliate by Elena Castro and Aubrey B. Episode 20: Suzanne Morphew
Happy Lunar New Year, Valentines! Today, Stacey and Kelly are doing a deep dive on the undoing of a picture-perfect marriage. There’s no such thing you say? Well we couldn’t believe it either but as it turns out, Suzanne and Barry Morphew’s marriage was anything but perfect. On Mothers Day 2020, Suzane went out for a bike ride and never came home. That is until 2023 when her remains were found in a remote area far away - and her death was deemed a homicide. Join us as we take a look under the hood of this very sad marriage, and wonder where things went wrong. We’re not wondering who murdered Suzanne, though.   Then - in honor of our two most recent holidays - we’re sharing our most favorite shades of pink and red in lipstick and gloss form. It’s really too bad that no one ever covers these colors otherwise. Episode 19: James Arthur Ray and the Spiritual Warrior Retreat Deaths
Hey Beauties! We hope this podcast finds you well. This week, Kelly and Stacey bring you a cautionary tale about seeking enlightenment. Turns out not all self-help helpers are the same. James Arthur Ray was a self-help guru who thought very highly of his abilities to ‘help’ people. But in October of 2009, a Spiritual Warrior retreat went way off the hot rails - and three people lost their lives. So never let anyone intimidate you if you are too hot and need some air! That goes for menopause and non-sanctioned sweat lodges.   On a much better path to spiritual enlightenment, Stacey and Kelly went to Korea Town in midtown Manhattan for some self-care with a surprise couples massage,  and a not-hot steam room because it was broken. We did, however, enjoy a nice dry sauna, and went shopping at not one but two K beauty stores.    Follow us on IG MMOTW Email us murdermurderonthewall@gmail.com   Beauty: 1:13 Kosette Beauty The Face Shop Lemon Sparkling Peeling Gel Biodance Collagen Real Deep Mask Mediheal Watermide Mask   Sources: Wikipedia James Earl Ray Wikipedia: Sweat Lodge The Guardian NYTimes ABC News CNN MPR News Seek Safely Guru The Dark Side of Enlightenment Enlighten Us Dare I Say It Naomi Watts

Episode 18: Gisèle Pelicot, Shame Must Change Sides
Trigger Warning: *This episode covers sexual assault* Welcome to MMOTW 2025! It’s a new year, but it’s a tale as old as time of horrible people doing horrible things. Stacey and Kelly are kicking off the year covering an unimaginable crime from the South of France - one that has been reported on far and wide. Picture-perfect Provence is home to boulangeries, boutiques, cheese, lavender and more cheese - and a very strong woman whose life was shattered in 2020 at the age of 70 by her husband of 50 years. Madame Pelicot lived through a decade of the most gruesome, unimaginable crimes at the hands of her husband, and over 80 strangers. Somehow, she and her adult children have found the strength to turn their personal tragedy into a beacon for change.    Follow us on IG MMOTW Email us murdermurderonthewall@gmail.com   HOW TO PURGE WHERE TO PURGE WHAT TO PURGE  Trashie Take Back Bag currently, 20% of profits go to LA Fire Relief Donate NYC Pickle The Real Real Tiny Buddha: How to release emotions stuck in your body Calm: How to Actually Feel Your Feelings  Psychology Today: The Key Skill We Never Learn - How to Feel Your Feelings    Sources Time Person Of the Year NYTimes The Dark Side of France BBC Gisele Pelicot The Guardian: A Rapist Can Live in the Family NYTimes A Timeline of Dominique Pelicot's Rape Trial CNN How Dominque Pelicot Organized France's Worst Sex Crime Ring France Info: At the Mazan rape trial, the investigating judge details the "colossal" investigative work carried out in the Pelicot case CBS News: Gisèle Pelicot's ex-husband, dozens of others found guilty in rape and drugging trial in FranceStrasbourg Observer: French Privacy LawsEl Pais: Beatrice ZavarroThe Guardian: French Woman’s Life Falls ApartLe Monde: Who are the 51 Men Convicted in the Historic Pelicot Trial?Caroline Darian: I’ll Never Call Him Dad AgainNY Times: A Devastated Family

Episode 17: Bruce McArthur, A Very Bad Santa
Happy holidays, beauties. Hopefully Santa has come and gone wherever you are, and that he brought you everything you dreamed of - because Kelly and Stacey have decided to close out the year with an absolute nightmare. Meet Bruce McArthur: Santa for hire, landscaper - and serial killer who terrorized the gay community in Toronto, Canada for at least a decade, probably more. Why don’t we know for sure? Well, the detectives on this case had a very sloppy list that most definitely was not checked twice. We also know you are probably done shopping for everyone else, so how about some gifts for YOU? Episode 16: The Genesee River Killer: Arthur Shawcross, and a WICKED surprise!
Well we’re back, beauties, and boy do we have an episode for you. First, Kelly and Stacey head home (well to Stacey’s home) for the holidays to cover Rochester, New York’s infamous, horrible serial killer, Arthur Shawcross. Two fun facts! First, this was supposed to be our very first episode, but we put it on ice - and made some much-needed edits - and voila. It’s a holiday miracle. Fun fact two: This is the first time we have covered a serial killer. But don’t worry, it won’t be the last.    But what’s really special, and we promise worth the wait, is something more WICKED than Arthur Shawcross ever could be. Yes, it's an exclusive interview with original WICKED cast member and dance captain, Kristen Gorski! Kristen tells us EVERYTHING about what it was like to be part of the original Broadway production with Kristen Chenoweth and Adina Menzel. And the best part? She gives us allllll of the Broadway beauty secrets - along with her own beauty tips. Episode #15 Murder at the Met: Helen Mintiks
It’s Self-Care Week at MMOTW, and Kelly and Stacey are here to help you self-care your way through whatever it is you need to work out. But first, we deliver your weekly dose of True Crime - and the very sad, very true story of Helen Mintiks - a talented, young violinist who was murdered at the Metropolitan Opera House. If you’ve never heard of this case, well, you’ve unfortunately heard many just like it: a toxic male who can’t handle rejection retaliates by doing something ghastly. We are SO into our time machine lately, and this week we’re taking you back to the hot summer of 1980 in NYC, where the crime rate was through the roof - and on top of the roof. Fortunately, there were some keen-eyed detectives on the case. Also, whoops. Kelly says Libby was a NYTimes app - but it’s a public library app. Complete with a Teen Banned Book Club! EPISODE 14: The Murder of Martha Moxley & The Carolyn Besette- Kennedy Phenomenon
Just as we promised, Beauties!! A brand new episode for you. Yes, a little bit behind. However, this week was all about politics and some sort of election, so Kelly and Stacey are nothing if not on theme, so we are keeping things politics-adjacent with this case. We are going back in time again to 1975 and the (unsolved) murder of 15-year-old Martha Moxley. This murder involves some Kennedy cousins who lived in Greenwich, CT. As for our beauty portion? It’s a very special trial-sized episode this week for Kelly and Stacey because we have Next Level Lexus…aka the heroine of last fall’s Tabi Thief drama…and her fashion picks for fall and beyond. But first, we take you through some of the worst dates in history - followed by our retelling of the infamous Tabi Thief. It was supposed to be a shorter episode than it is…but there’s a lot of ground to cover in our Maison Margiela Tabi’s. If you are a doctor, or even if you are not a doctor, you probably know that the Hippocratic Oath is the official doctor promise. Part of that promise is “Do No Harm” - and we’re not sure Dr. Scott Sills understood the assignment. Maybe he missed doctor class that day. Ezra McCandless is a free spirit…well maybe not anymore. But she was at one point. A deep, complicated thinker and tortured artist, pondering all of life’s questions. Is my art speaking to people? Is my nose ring infected? Who is going to pay for my oat milk latte today? Kelly and Stacey are examining all of these questions and more on this episode of MMOTW. Ezra crossed paths with more than a few men in Eau Claire, Wisconsin at a coffee lounge house called Racy D Lenes.
