Preview - CopyCat Killers - The Sopranos
Enjoy this sneak preview of CopyCat Killers!  The Sopranos – Tony Soprano, the fictional New Jersey mob boss in HBO’s The Sopranos, could seemingly get away with anything, even the eight murders his character committed in the series. But for Riverside, CA residents, Jason Bautista and his half-brother Michael Montejo, one particular Sopranos episode inspired them to murder their mentally ill mother and dismember her in an attempt to conceal the identity of her body. It was a familiar mob tactic that the boys learned from watching an episode of The Sopranos. But unlike the fiction, these copycat killers turned what they saw on TV into tragedy.  New Copycat Killerspodcasts drop each Thursday. Next week, Forensic Psychologist Dr. J. Buzz Von Ornsteiner and the experts dive into the murder inspired by Reservoir Dogs. Like what you hear and want more true crime and mystery?
