Getting permanently excluded from school is traumatic for any child. There were more than 310,000 UK school exclusions in 2020 and today we hear just one of those fixed-term school exclusion stories of a primary school autistic child. Children excluded from school are vulnerable, many of them have EHCP's or undiagnosed special educational needs. This immoral treatment of children needs to stop.
