One call can save a life. One click can fund it. Support CALM. DONATION LINK
This week on Mum, Dad’s Got Another Tattoo we’re joined by Chris Green from Andy’s Man Club – the nationwide movement giving men a safe, judgment-free place to talk.
Chris’s story is powerful. After losing his son Nicky to suicide, he stumbled across Andy’s Man Club, almost by accident. What started as attending a group online turned into face-to-face sessions, then into volunteering, and eventually into a new career. Chris is now an Area Lead for Cumbria and Dumfries & Galloway, supporting facilitators and helping new groups get off the ground.
We talk about:
Chris is open about the hardest parts of his journey and generous in what he shares. It’s not an easy listen at times, but it’s an important one.
👉 If you’re struggling, or know someone who is, visit Andy’s Man Club to find a local group or online meeting.
👉 Support the CALM Campaign:
We’re proud to be part of Stay Tuned – raising money for CALM’s suicide prevention hotline. Just £12.20 funds a potentially life-saving call. The donation link is in the description.
🎧 Subscribe to Mum, Dad’s Got Another Tattoo for midlife chaos, male vulnerability, and the occasional world pea-throwing championship. Because self-improvement is better with swearing, laughter, and taking the piss out of yourself.
