Mujeres Unidas invites you to listen to our podcast.
The month of July is National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month.
National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month aims to bring awareness to the struggles that racial and ethnic minority communities face regarding mental health in the United States.
In this podcast, we will be discussing the importance of bringing awareness to mental health. We want to bring awareness as to how someone can seek mental health help and what you can do to better and prioritize one's own mental health. In addition, we will be discussing how different minority groups are affected and what barriers they face to have to access mental health resources.
If you or someone you know is going through any type of mental health issues or any tpe of abuse, you are not alone. Our advocates are here to help. We can provide you with information or resources to assist.
