Welcome to Movie Night! Today, I sat down with my friend, Mack Stevens and watched his favorite movie with him: 1995’s A Goofy Movie. Directed by Kevin Lima, A Goofy Movie is a charming story about fatherhood following the beloved Disney character, Goofy, and his son Max. On the last day of school, Max pulls a senior prank that makes him instantly popular, captures the attention of the girl of his dreams, and gets him invited to the hottest party in town. However, worried about his son’s shenanigans, Goofy instead decides to take Max on a father-son road trip to keep him away from bad influences. What begins as a road trip filled with guilt-tripping and resentment ends up as a once in a lifetime experience that mends Max and Goofy’s broken relationship.
