The Dry, based on the 2016 bestseller by Jane Harper, starts Eric Ban as Aaron Falk, a federal police officer called back to his cowtown of Kiewarra, in Australia’s Western Victoria, by a stark, accusatory letter. ‘Luke lied. You lied. Be at the funeral” Luke: Aaron’s childhood friend, now dead allow with his young family, apparently by his own hand. Aaron digs deep to find the truth and how this event is connected to the horrible events of his past.
