DA. Kroppen styres af nervesystemet. Igennem to øvelser bygger vi en bro til et roligere sted - helt indefra. Hvis du ikke har noget imod, at det bliver en kende nørdet, kan du lade din nysgerrighed læse videre: Ser du, det somatiske nervesystem er ansvarlig for frivillige handlinger. Det autonome nervesystem er ansvarlig for automatiske handlinger. Vejrtrækning kan ses som broen mellem disse to, da lungerne både kan invitere ilt til systemet gennem somatiske, frivillige handlinger (en bevidst og dyb vejrtrækning) samt gennem autonome, automatiske handlinger (ubevidste åndedrag gennem dagen). Med denne øvelse praktiseres og observeres åndedrættet gennem begge former for vejrtrækning - fra det automatiske til det intentionelle.

DA. Det meditative stadie opnås ved at holde et singulært fokus over tid. Til denne meditation er fokus at forbinde det naturlige åndedræt med en tælling fra 1 til 50 eller fra 50 til 1. Om og om igen for at indlede et mildt og roligt fokus. Denne metode er simpel, men kan være udfordrende at holde fokus om. Du kan altid starte med meditationen ‘Counting 10’ og efter noget tid komme tilbage til denne version. Viloma: Calm paused breathing (guided breath)
EN. This type of paused breath is called ‘viloma’ (विलोम) - sanskrit for ‘against the natural flow’ or ‘against the wave’. In this version, we briefly interrupt the inhalation. This exercise will lengthen the inhale, allowing more oxygen to enter your system and engage a deep exhale, leaving you relaxed and calm. This is a great exercise for beginners. Enjoy.
