We begin our journey and study of the New Testament in Chapter 3 of the greatest epic story ever told. Studying the New Testament like a book, the story begins with what John the Baptist brought to the story. (I refer to him as an important supporting character. That in no way diminishes his importance, nor is that to say that I think other important people in the Bible are supporting characters. In fact while the main character is Jesus, there are other main and supporting characters in the story of the Eternal Ministry of Jesus Christ.) We explore what I call the "redemptive story arc" or the "redemption story arc". And we highlight important pieces of the Baptism of Jesus and address specific parts of the symbolism behind His baptism and what John the Baptist taught.
