Dr. Abby Crume is our guest for this episode of Mountain Land Pelvic Health Podcast. She attended medical School at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, University of North Texas, Fort Worth, TX followed by her Residency at the Maine Medical Center, Portland, Maine and her Fellowship at St. Mark’s Hospital Colon and Rectal Surgery. She has board certifications in both surgery and colon and rectal surgery. Dr. Crume serves on the Faculty for St. Marks Hospital Colon and Rectal Surgery Fellowship. During this podcast we discuss the multidisciplinary approach for treatment of fecal incontinence, rectal prolapse and colo-rectal cancers in regards to diagnosis and the treatment paradigm including medication, nerve stimulators, surgeries and pelvic floor physical therapy.
