I speak with Mosaic Artist and Community lider Dawn Mendelson from Long Beach, California. She is originally from Texas but has made California her home and started making mosaics back in 1999 when there were limitation on how to make them. With a Bachelor's Degree in creative writing from California State University in Long Beach, California, a Master of Arts in English, also a creative graphic designer, and a recognized community expert with her certificate from California State University in Los Angeles she pretty much has all the experience in the mosaic field and is here to talk about what is it like to work for a mosaic non-profit organization, her interactions with community mosaic projects, the non-profit Artworks LBC that she is running in Long Beach California to address social issues in the community and mosaic experiences from all the years making beautiful mosaics. 

She also has teaching experience, a very strong professional development in Arts, Public Art, Lectures and mosaic presentations and knows a lot about community work.
